Everton star Sigurdsson is one of Iceland’s best ever sportsmen.
He is arguably the nation’s second greatest ever footballer, behind Premier League, La Liga and Champions League winner Eidur Gudjohnsen, and needs only seven more goals to become Iceland’s record scorer.
But Alexandra is not just a wag, she is one of Iceland’s most famous beauty queens.
Alexandra, who celebrated her 29th birthday in August, won Miss Iceland in 2008.

Alexandra reached the semi-final of Miss World 2008, finishing in the top 15[/caption]
She then won Miss World Sports – a decathlon event where entrants for Miss World compete against each other in a range of fitness tests and activities.
The competition included running races, a canoe race and even a penalty kick competition.
Alexandra winning it allowed her automatic entry to Miss World 2008, held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
There were 109 contestants in Miss World 2008, the second highest ever for the pageant.
Alexandra has been a keen supporter of Gylfi Sigurdsson and the Icelandic national team[/caption]
She supported him at the 2016 Euros and the 2018 World Cup[/caption]
Alexandra has followed Gylfi around the UK as he’s moved from Swansea to London to Liverpool[/caption]
She eventually finished in the top 15, with Russian beauty Ksenia Sukhinova taking the crown.
Sigurdsson and Alexandra met in 2010 and have become one of the most recognisable celebrity couples in Scandinavia.
Both Alexandra, who studied psychology at university, and Gylfi are from Reykjavik and she has followed the star from Swansea to London and now Liverpool, with their King Charles Spaniel, Koby.

She was in the stands at nearly every game of Euro 2016 and at the 2018 World Cup – wearing her ‘Sigurdsson 10’ shirt with pride.

Alexandra is a keen sunseeker and the pair have been snapped on multiple holidays in the last year.
They have been to Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami Paris and are regular visitors back to Iceland, where they spend time in the beautiful countryside on hikes.
After Iceland were knocked out of the World Cup, the couple spent almost a month in the Bahamas – while on the trip, Gylfi proposed to Alexandra.
