Constantino Parente: Monday’s racing tips: Two longshots to fill your pockets at Kempton

AFTER a thrilling weekend of action, the racing slows down on Monday.

However, there looks to be a an opportunity to have a couple of each-way bets at Kempton this evening.

8.00 Kempton – Saguaro

It certainly wouldn’t be the greatest of meetings that Kempton has held, but trainer Sylvester Kirk has snuck one in right at the bottom of the weights in this handicap.

SAGUARO has had three runs and now has a very low mark as she makes her handicap debut.

She showed enough promise, and seems to be improving steadily with each run with her last outing being the most promising.

This step back up in trip should help her now she is starting to develop as a racehorse.

Luke Morris is in the saddle and the Kirk yard are in good form.

8.30 Kempton – Mapped

Probably the best race on the card, this handicap is an intriguing race with plenty in with a chance.

However, it could pay to side with MAPPED hitting the frame.

Charlie Hills’ three-year-old got off the market over course and distance time, and while it’s taken a fair bit of time to shed his maiden tag, he could rack up a few nice results.

He certainly looks capable of getting in the mix.
