Constantino Parente: Best horse racing tips: Sun Racing’s top picks for today’s racing at Kempton, Brighton, Hexham and Worcester

IT’S the start of a new week of racing and there’s four meetings to get stuck into.

With two National Hunt meetings and two Flat meetings there is plenty for everyone.

Kempton

Best bet

7.00: Kynance – Placed in both her starts to date, Kevin Ryan’s filly has improved with each run to date and this step up in trip should help her get off the mark.

Each-way

5.30: Ertidaad – It’s a tricky field to pick a winner but there’s every chance Ertidaad can put in a big run on his first run since leaving Suzi Best’s yard. He’s had a break which should have freshened him up and he goes well on the all-weather.

NERVOUS WAIT Connections yet to find out the extend of Alpha Centauri’s injury

Brighton

Best bet

3.40: Live Dangerously – He might be an eight-year-old but Live Dangerously has already won twice this year and both of those came over this course and distance. He still looks competitively weighted.

Each-way

3.10: Harlequin Rose – Course form at Brighton is always important and Harlequin Rose has plenty of that. Her only win came here and she’s consistently run well at the course. This step up in trip also looks a good move after staying on well here over shorter last time.

Hexham

Best bet

2.00: Skint – Having been no match for an impressive winner last time, Skint should be able to return to winning ways today. Plenty of his rivals need significant improvement to take this and he will be in the mix.

Each-way

4:30 Tickerty Boo – The six-year-old’s best performance came over this course and distance and having failed to stay when attempting longer trips the drop back down in distance looks a good move.

Worcester

Best bet

3.20: Theo: Richard Newland’s chaser got his season off to a good start with a win here last time and can follow that up. The small field should suit.

Each-way

2.20: Withoutdefavourite – He regularly runs well and stayed on well to take second over this course and distance last time and is worth another chance to hit the frame.
